The School Investiture Ceremony was held on 31st July, 2024, marking a significant event in the academic calendar. This ceremony serves to formally appoint student leaders to their respective positions, celebrating their new roles and responsibilities within the school community.
The event, celebrated the appointment of new student leaders and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to foster leadership skills among students.
The core of the ceremony involved the formal swearing-in of the newly elected student council members. Each student took an oath to uphold the values and duties associated with their positions.
New leaders were presented with their badges by the Principal and faculty members.
The Head Girl, Ms. Sonam Aseri and the Head Boy, Master Abhishek Jadhav delivered their speeches, outlining their vision and goals for their tenure. Their addresses were met with enthusiasm and support from the audience, consisting of peers, teachers, and parents.
The Principal Ms. Preeti Pawar provided the closing remarks, reinforcing the importance of leadership and collaboration in achieving the school’s objectives.
Investiture Ceremony 2023-24
The Investiture Ceremony 2023-24 of Chembur English High School, successfully inducted the newly elected and selected members into the Student Council on 31st July, 2023.
The Chief guest for the day was Mr. Santosh Vasant Bhalekar, who is the unit incharge of Nagpada Anti Terrorism Squad, Mumbai. He has completed 37 years in Maharashtra Police Department and has mainly worked in the special branches of Mumbai Crime Branch, Anti Narcotics Cell, Anti Terrorism Squad, SOS and SPU Mumbai.
The Council members : Veer Pawar as Head boy, Vijaya Thoke as Head girl, and Shubhra Tapase and Laqub Zaidi as Cultural head along with Uzair Baig and Sanika Chavan as Sports head.
The house captains are Janvi Nirban (Red), Sonam Aseri (Blue), Umrah (Yellow) Saee Surve (Green)
The council also consisted of Vice captains and discipline heads of all the four houses along with the class monitors.
The zeal of the council was reflected in their confidence and dedication to execute their work.
Investiture Ceremony 2022-23
Senior PI Jaykumar Suryavanshi and PSI Manisha Shirke from Chembur Police Station consented to be the Guest of Honour, for the Investiture Ceremony 2022-23
The students were excited to receive their sash and badges and vowed to keep the flag of Chembur English High School soaring high.
Investiture Ceremony 2021-22
A Virtual Investiture Ceremony was conducted in the year 2021-22 due to the lockdown restrictions and the council members were inducted by their parents.
